1) Change your negative thoughts to positive ones - Realizing that we've a choice in almost every factor of life, we can make up your mind to change our negative thoughts to positive ones. 2) Determine how you want the predicament to be - Similar to having positive thoughts, we ought to specifically consider what we want our predicament to be like. This is important because we have to be clear about what we really want in order to bring it into our lifetimes.

3) Do something positive to change your circumstances - By doing something positive that will directly impact the adverse situation, we're starting to take action and actually cause an alternative effect to occur. Action is required in order to make any kind of change.

4) Plan how you will make changes to lead to an alternative outcome - Sometimes it is important to plan the right action steps so that they are strategic and most beneficial. Failure to plan is a primary answer why some things stay the same.

6) Be pleased about what you have - This step can also be included in our prayers because we ought to thank Jehovah for His blessings.
